My Style and Modalities for Therapy:
I generally use tactics and interventions from CBT, DBT, Gestalt, and Narrative Therapy.
My style is generally one that is warm yet challenging. I use a lot of humor, metaphors, creativity, and psychoeducation in session. I draw a lot from my past careers in teaching, behaviorism, and personal training. I’m not a blank slate in session. I bring myself into the room, and I hope that allows space for my clients to do the same.
